Luke Saladyga

Chief Technology Officer

Luke Saladyga has spent the past 15 years building the core infrastructure that underpins data centers all over the world. Prior to joining VoltaGrid as CTO, Luke was the Global Data Center Architect at Oracle for Large Scale Utility & On-Site Generation responsible for over 4 gigawatts of signed capacity in 2025 alone. Prior to that he was a Principal Systems Engineer at an on-site generation startup, UtilityInnovation Group, helping to deploy Ireland’s first flexible demand grid connection utilizing on-site generation for a large data center customer.

For the 13 years before UIG, Luke worked across various roles at Google from Data Center Operations to Global Engineering. His tenure at Google spans two years in Finland bringing the worlds first seawater cooled data center online, retrofits of live data centers, and multiple first-of-a-kind development projects including the first medium-voltage distribution architecture including championing the deployment of IEC-61850 at Google. A founding member of Google’s Infrastructure SRE Training Group, Luke has deep operational & engineering experience related to data center electrical & controls infrastructure.

A graduate of the prestigious US Naval Academy with a bachelors in Systems Engineering, Luke served seven years as a Nuclear Submariner Officer on two Los Angeles class submarines. Luke also holds an Executive MBA from Georgia Tech, with an emphasis on Management of Technology.
