Krasen Chervenkov

Vice President – Corporate Development

Krasen Chervenkov is a seasoned energy executive with over 16 years of leadership experience spanning corporate development, M&A, investor relations, and strategic planning. He currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Development at VoltaGrid LLC, where he leads corporate development and investor relations efforts across one of America’s fastest-growing distributed power and clean fuels companies.

Before joining VoltaGrid, Krasen was Executive Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Tidewater Renewables Ltd., where he co-founded and led the company from concept through IPO, helping raise over $600 million in capital and securing $275 million in government grants and interest-free loans. Under his leadership, Tidewater executed long-term take-or-pay contracts, built Canada’s first renewable diesel and hydrogen complex, and established national-scale clean fuels and carbon credit operations.

Earlier in his career, Krasen held senior roles at Tidewater Midstream and in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets and CIBC Capital Markets, completing over $26 billion in M&A transactions and $14 billion in capital raises across energy infrastructure, renewables, and power sectors. His track record includes billion-dollar M&A and capital projects, negotiating complex commercial agreements, and building enduring relationships with governments, strategic partners, and institutional investors.

Krasen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary (with distinction) and is a CFA Charterholder.
