Daniel Ro-Trock

Daniel has served for more than 20 years as a trusted advisor to public and private companies, boards of directors and executive leadership teams in the energy industry.  He has extensive experience leading global teams, executing complex business strategies, managing enterprise risk and developing talent. 

Prior to joining VoltaGrid, Daniel served at Transocean Ltd. for over 11 years in progressively senior legal and leadership roles, most recently as Deputy General Counsel and Head of Government Relations.  In those roles, he advised executive management and the board of directors on strategic transactions, capital markets activities, securities compliance, corporate governance, enterprise risk management and regulatory matters.

Prior to Transocean, Daniel was a partner at Baker McKenzie LLP, where he advised public and private companies, private equity sponsors and financial institutions and investors on domestic and cross-border corporate and securities matters. He began his legal career at Winstead PC.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from University of Houston Law Center.
